How Keyless Entry Works
Keyless entry activation uses multiple antennas around the vehicle to detect the proximity of the key fob. When the key is within 1.5 metres of the door, the system authenticates and unlocks. When the key moves beyond 2 metres, the system locks after a short delay. The system is completely passive — no button pressing required.

Which Vehicles Can Have Keyless Entry Activated?

Activation Process
Keyless entry activation activation is a CCF editing job that takes 15-20 minutes. The technician enables the keyless entry parameter, configures the antenna sensitivity, and sets the lock/unlock timing. After activation, the system works immediately.
Security Considerations
Keyless entry activation is vulnerable to relay attacks, where thieves use signal amplifiers to extend the key's range. We recommend: storing keys in a Faraday pouch at home, disabling keyless entry in high-risk areas (possible through CCF), and using the double-lock function for overnight security.
