SX-TOOL is a general-purpose diagnostic scanner for full system read and clearing of diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) with live data monitoring. SX-CAN is specifically designed for deep CAN bus analysis — message sniffing, frame filtering, and signal decoding — ideal for reverse engineering and advanced troubleshooting. Both support Jaguar Land Rover, but SX-CAN is the choice for CAN-level work.

All our tools receive software updates via OTA (Over-The-Air). As soon as a new vehicle model or software patch is released, your app will automatically download and install the update when connected to the internet. No manual downloads or USB transfers required — you always have the latest coverage and bug fixes.

All plans are licensed for 1 device at a time. If you need to switch devices (e.g., workshop laptop to field tablet), you can deactivate the license on the old device and reactivate it on the new one through your account dashboard. Demo versions are limited to basic read-only functions — you can read DTCs, view limited live data, and preview CAN frames. CCF-PRO is our dedicated Car Configuration File (CCF) editor for Jaguar Land Rover vehicles. It's essential when you need to change vehicle configurations — such as enabling disabled features, modifying lighting settings, or adjusting module parameters after hardware retrofits. It requires the CCF-PRO license in addition to a diagnostic tool.

Cloud backup is available for JET-PRO, JET-LS, TOPIx, and CCF-PRO plans. Every time you perform a coding session, CCF edit, module programming, or key programming, a backup is automatically saved to your cloud account. If anything goes wrong, you can restore the previous configuration from any device with your account login. This is critical for safety when modifying factory settings.

Basic diagnostic functions (reading DTCs, live data) work entirely offline. However, coding, programming, and CCF editing require an internet connection for license verification and cloud backup. TOPIx and CCF-PRO also need internet access to fetch the latest calibration files and configuration databases. We recommend a stable WiFi or mobile data connection during coding operations.

DOIP (Diagnostic over Internet Protocol) is the modern communication standard used by Jaguar Land Rover vehicles from 2017 onwards. Unlike older CAN-based diagnostics, DOIP operates over Ethernet, delivering much faster data transfer rates — essential for module programming and flash updates. Standard OBD-II tools cannot communicate with DOIP vehicles, which is why our ENET/WiFi adapters are required for 2017+ JLR models.

If your subscription expires, the software will revert to read-only mode — you can still read DTCs and view live data, but coding, programming, and CCF editing functions will be locked.
