The Traffic Jam Assist function is a semi-autonomous driving feature designed to reduce driver fatigue and enhance comfort during long-distance travel and in heavy traffic conditions. It is an advanced extension of the Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go system, combining it with Lane Centering Assist to provide a more relaxing driving experience.
When activated, the system uses a forward-facing camera and radar sensors to automatically control acceleration, braking, and steering. It maintains a set distance from the vehicle ahead, keeps the car centered in its lane, and can bring the vehicle to a complete stop and resume when traffic moves again. Under specific conditions , the system allows the driver to release the steering wheel, gas, and brake pedals, effectively managing the stop-and-go nature of traffic jams.

📋 Activation Process

The activation is performed remotely using JLR engineering tools. The process is simple and straightforward:
Step 1: Send us your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) for verification
Step 2: Complete your order with secure payment
Step 3: Install TeamViewer on your Windows laptop
Step 4: Connect the JLR ENET adapter to your vehicle’s OBD2 port and laptop
Step 5: Turn ignition ON (engine not running)
Step 6: Our team will connect remotely and activate the feature
