JLR Engineering refers to advanced, dealer-level or beyond-dealer-level diagnostic and programming solutions for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles. These tools provide deep access to vehicle electronic control units (ECUs), enabling functions not available through standard diagnostic systems.

Core capabilities include CCF (Central Configuration File) editing for vehicle personalization and feature activation, module programming and ECU flashing, VBF/E-XML modifications, key programming and immobilizer functions, and security access seed-key calculations for privileged operations. Hidden features such as Dynamic Mode, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Ambient Lighting, and Terrain Response 2 can be enabled or disabled.
